7) Sos tomato (1 sudu besar)
8) Sos lada hitam (1 sudu besar)
9) Serbuk lada hitam (1 sudu kecil)
10) Garam (sedikit)
11) Pencucuk - mengikut saiz hidangan

Cara Memasak

1. Campur minyak zaiton, jus lemon, oregano kering, serbuk lada hitam, sos tomato, sos lada hitam, garam, bawang putih dan parsley. Kacau sebati.

2. Masukkan udang dan gaul rata bersama sos tersebut. Perap lebih kurang 2 jam di dalam peti ais.

3. Setelah siap diperap, cucuk udang pada batang pencucuk.

4. Bakar udang di atas pemanggang. Balik-balikkan selalu sehingga udang masak sekata.

5. rendam pencucuk tersebut selama ½ jam di dalam air supaya ianya tidak mudah terbakar

This is a good educational video. Take note that the Americans use mg/dl to measure their cholestrol level. We are used to mmol/l. Approximately 40 mg/dl = 1 mmol/l. So if your cholestrol level is 5 mmol/l, it is about 200 mg/dl. MIRACLE OF AL-QURAN – THE OLIVE: A HEALTH-GIVING PLANT

One of the foods to which attention is drawn in the Qur’an is the olive. Research in recent years has revealed that the olive is not just a delicious food but also represents an important source of good health. In addition to the olive itself, olive oil is also an important source of nutrition. Attention is drawn to the oil of the olive tree in these terms in the Qur’an:

"Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The metaphor of His Light is that of a niche in which is a lamp, the lamp inside a glass, the glass like a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east nor of the west, its oil all but giving off light even if no fire touches it. Light upon Light. Allah guides to His Light whoever He wills and Allah makes metaphors for mankind and Allah has knowledge of all things." (Qur’an, 24:35)

The expression “mubarakatin zaytoonatin” in the above verse describes the olive as being “plentiful, sacred, auspicious, providing countless blessings.” Olive oil, referred to in the term “zaytuha,” is known as one of the most highly recommended types of oil by all experts, especially for coronary and arterial health. Its health benefits may be summarised as follows:

Benefits for Coronary and Arterial Health:

Most of the fatty acids in olives and olive oil are mono-unsaturated. Mono-unsaturated fatty acids do not contain cholesterol. Therefore, olive oil does not raise cholesterol levels but instead keeps them under control. Olive oil also contains omega-6 linoleic acid (EFA: essential fatty acid), which is essential for the human body. Due to this feature, health-related bodies (such as The World Health Organization) recommend that at least 30% of the fatty acid consumed in societies in which hardened artery and diabetes levels are high should consist of omega-6. This increases the importance of the olive still further.

"And by it He makes crops grow for you and olives and dates and grapes and fruit of every kind. There is certainly a Sign in that for people who reflect." (Qur’an, 16:11)

Studies in this area have revealed much lower LDL (bad cholesterol) and higher antioxidant levels in people who consume 25 millilitres (about two dessertspoonfuls) of natural olive oil a day for one week.128 Antioxidants are important as they neutralise the harmful substances in the body known as free radicals and prevent cell damage. It has also been established in a great many studies that the consumption of olive oil reduces cholesterol levels and prevents heart disease.

Olive oil is also recommended for patients with heart and artery disease since it reduces the level of harmful cholesterol (LDL) in the bloodstream and raises that of useful cholesterol (HDL).130 In countries with high occurrences of heart and artery diseases, saturated fats with high cholesterol content are generally consumed.

In addition, olive oil does not disrupt the proportion of omega-6 to that of omega-3. It is very important that omega-3 and omega-6 be present in the body at specific levels because any imbalance in these proportions can lead to progression in many diseases, especially those of the heart and immune system and cancer.

For all these reasons, many people enjoy good health thanks to olive oil. The American Heart Association suggests that in order to reduce the risk of heart disease high mono-unsaturated fats can be an alternative to a 30% reduced fat diet.

Cancer Prevention

One study, published by The Archives of Internal Medicine, showed that women who consume high levels of mono-unsaturated fat have a lower risk of developing breast cancer.133 Another study by scientists at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York demonstrated that b-sitosterol, a fat found in vegetable oils such as olive oil, helps prevent the formation of prostate cancer cells. The researchers concluded that b-sitosterol strengthens the internal communication system of the cell that issues the command for the cells to divide and that cancer can thus be prevented before cell division reaches an uncontrollable level.

A recent study by doctors at the University of Oxford has shown that olive oil has a protective effect against intestinal cancer. The doctors discovered that olive oil enters into a reaction with stomach acid in order to prevent intestinal cancer from beginning. At the same time, the University of Oxford researchers also established that olive oil reduces the level of bile and raises that of DAO (the enzyme diamine oxidase), thus protecting against abnormal cell growth and cancer.

Prevention of Arthritis

According to researchers’ reports, people who consume large quantities of olive oil and cooked vegetables can have a reduced risk of rheumatic arthritis, a chronic inflammatory disease of the joints.

Olive Oil Assists Bone Development

The vitamins E, A, D and K contained in olive oil are particularly important from the point of view of assisting bone development in adults and children, and in strengthening the bones by fixing calcium. It is also recommended for the elderly as it is easily digested and through its minerals, it assists with the use of vitamins in the body. It also prevents calcium loss by stimulating bone mineralisation.135 Bones are the organism’s mineral structure storehouses and an absence of mineral accumulation in the bones can lead to serious complications such as bone softening. Olive oil has a most beneficial effect on the skeleton in this regard.

Prevention of Aging

Since the vitamins contained in olive oil have a cell renewing effect they are also employed in the treatment of the elderly, as well as nourishing and protecting the skin. As foodstuffs are transformed into energy in our bodies, certain substances known as oxidants are formed. With the high levels of anti-oxidants it contains, olive oil prevents damage by harmful substances, renews our cells and delays aging in the tissues and organs. Olive oil is also rich in vitamin E, which suppresses the free radicals that destroy the cells in our bodies and cause aging.

4 Wonders of the Holy Qur’an

“And a tree (olive) that springs forth from Mount Sinai, that grows oil, and (it is a) relish for the eaters.” (TMQ, Al-Mu’minun – The Believers: 20)

This is the twentieth ayah of Surat Al-Mu’minun (The Believers) which was revealed in Makkah. The main theme of this Surah is Iman (believing in Allah) and a description of those who believe in the Oneness of Allah (tawhid). The Surah provides proofs and indications of the Oneness of Allah and compares true faith to its antitheses of shirk (polytheism) and kufr (disbelief). The Surah is called Al-Mu’minun in praise of those who believe, asserting their virtues and distinguishing them above those who have been led astray by Shaitan (Satan) into the depths of polytheism, doubt and disbelief in Allah.
Tenets of faith in Surat al-Mu’minun:

1. Paradise (Jannah) is real; only the believers (those described in the Surat and after whom the Surah is named) shall inherit and dwell in paradise.

2. Allah is the Creator of mankind and the One who determines the embryonic phases one after the other until His creation is fully formed. Allah is the Lord and Owner of everything; man’s creation was not pointless and he shall most definitely return to his Lord.

3. All creatures are destined to die.

4. The hereafter is real, as is the resurrection, the gathering of mankind and the reckoning of deeds.

5. The Prophets, Messengers and all the messages sent by Allah are true.

6. There is no God but Allah; all His signs are real. He is the All-Knower of the seen and the unseen. He is the Supreme Lord of the Holy Throne. Associating partners with Allah is disbelief and disbelievers shall never succeed.

7. Allah is the best of Providers; it is He who gives life and death and causes the day and night to vary. He is above needing a wife or child, a partner or equal and above any description that does not befit His Majesty.

8. One must seek refuge in Allah from the devil.

9. There is no return to this world after death except on the Day of Resurrection; the dead are in the barzakh (where the soul remains after death until the Day of Resurrection). At the first blow of the trumpet, every living being will become unconscious and at the second blow, all the dead will be resurrected.

10. Those whose good deeds weigh heavily on the balance on the Day of Reckoning are the successful people whereas those whose good deeds are few are those who lose themselves in this life and their eternal abode will be Hell.

11. One can only ask for forgiveness and mercy from Allah who is the most merciful.
Signs of creation in Surat al-Mu’minun

1. Man was created from clay.

2. The successive stages of the development of the human embryo are described in extensive detail.

3. Both the male and female reproductive organs are described as being a “safe lodging”.

4. The creation of the seven heavens and the barriers between them.

5. Rainfall in proportion and its subsequent storage in the ground.

6. The sprouting of plant life after it rains, making gardens of palm trees and grapes as well as other plant life.

7. The olive tree being described as a tree that provides edible oil; the olive trees that grow in Mount Sinai are mentioned specifically.

8. Cattle are described as being an example for men of understanding; how they produce milk, meat and many other benefits.

9. Reference is made to the possibility of using both cattle and ships as means of transport.

10. Reference is made to the fact that one’s faculty of hearing is created before the faculty of seeing and the heart.

11. Reference is made to the rotation of the earth on its axis before of the sun - "the alternation between day and night"
Mention of olives and olive oil in the Holy Qur’an

Olives and olive oil are mentioned in the Holy Qur’an in seven occasions. The ayahs in which they were mentioned can be translated as:

1. *..And gardens of grapes, and olives, and pomegranates, each similar (in kind) yet different (in variety and taste). Look at the fruits when they begin to bear, and the ripeness thereof. Verily! In these things there are signs for people who believe.* (TMQ, al-An’am:99).

2. *And it is He Who produces gardens, trellised and untrellised, and date-palms, and crops of different shape and taste (their fruits and their seeds) and olives and pomegranates, similar (in kind) and different (in taste). Eat of their fruit when they ripen, but pay the due thereof (its Zakat, according to Allah's Orders1/10th or 1/2th) on the day of its harvest, and waste not by extravagance. Verily, He likes not Al-Musrifun (those who waste by extravagance),* (TMQ, al-An’am: 141).

3. *With it He causes to grow for you the crops, the olives, the date-palms, the grapes and every kind of fruit. Verily! In this is indeed an evident proof and a manifest sign for people who give thought.* (TMQ, an-Nahl:11)

4. *And a tree (olive) that springs forth from Mount Sinai, that grows (produces) oil, and (it is a) relish for eaters.* (TMQ, al-Mu’minun:20).

5. *Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as( if there were) a niche and within it a lamp: the lamp is in glass, the glass as it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed Tree, an olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! God doth guide whom He will to His Light: God doth set forth Parables for men: and God doth know all things.* (TMQ, an-Nur: 35).

6. *Then let man look at his food: We pour forth water in abundance. And We split the earth in clefts. And We cause therein the grain to grow, And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle), And olives and dates, And gardens dense with many trees, And fruits and herbage, (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle.* (TMQ, Abasa: 24-32).

7. *By the figs and the olives. By Mount of Sinai. And this city of security (Makkah). *(TMQ, at-Tin: 1-3). In this Surah "The Figs"; Allah swears, and He doesn’t need it, by: “the figs, the olives and the Mount of Sinai (the mountain in peninsula of Sinai beside which Moses - peace be upon him - was called) and the city of security (Makkah, the noblest place on earth)”. Allah swore by them all, that He has created man with the inclination to believe in Him, to love goodness and hate evil, to love high moral standards and to hate low manners. Allah made man love observance to reach grades of perfection that would raise him higher than the ranks of angles, only if he observed. Should he deviate from the nature which he has been created for and sink into the humiliation of disbelief, polytheism or aberration and mean morals, he will then be punished by falling deeper into the dungeons of meanness.

Figs are mentioned only once in the Qur’an in Surat At-Tin (The Fig).

Each of the ayahs mentioned above requires separate research. I shall limit this article to a discussion about ayah 20 of Surat Al-Mu’minun. Before I begin, let us have a quick look at some scholar’s interpretations of this ayah.

I found one general niche topic. So this time I want to discuss how to do keyword research so you will know whether your chosen niche for your blog has profit potential or not, and how difficult it will be to compete.

1) Keyword Research

First, let’s talk about how to see how many searches a particular keyword phrase gets. Once you have decided on a broad niche you need to find the keywords within it that you want to target. There are many ways to do this but one of the best free options is to use the Google Keyword Tool.

Once you have the tool open just type in your main keyword phrase in the search box. For example, let’s say you chose weight loss as your niche, so type that into the box. Keep the “use synonyms” box below it checked. Then, type in the security code and click the “get keyword ideas” button. Next, look at the top right of the results and you will see a drop down menu that says “broad” — click that and choose “exact” instead — This is important because it gives you a much closer idea of the actual search volume of the phrases.

Go through that list and find the keywords that best match what you want your site to be about that also have a good amount of monthly searches. Keep it to around 10 or so keywords at first. You can target more and more phrases as time goes on but you don’t want too many right away.

Now, let’s look at how to see how much competition you have for the keyword phrases you want to target. Let’s continue with our example from above and say you decided to start a “weight loss” blog, which is a very competitive niche, so you would have your work cut out for you. But let’s just keep using that as an example for the sake of this post.

2) Check Your Competition

The most basic way to check your competition is to go to Google and search for your keyword phrase with quotes around it. So, you would search “weight loss” and the other weight loss related keyword phrases that you chose from your research with the Google keyword tool above, and see how many results come up. Make sure you use the quotes or you won’t get the true competition.

That gives you a general idea of how many websites you will be competing against to rank #1 for each keyword phrase. If it’s fairly low then you might be on to something. But remember some competition is good because it’s a sign that there’s money to be made in the niche. You just don’t want so much that you can’t compete.

3) Check Backlinks And Pagerank

You are not done there. You also need to see how strong the top 10 sites are that rank for your keyword phrases…

To do that you need to look at how many backlinks they have and what the page rank (PR) of their site is. If you have the Google toolbar installed you will easily be able to see their PR but if you don’t then you can go to http://www.checkpagerank.net to check it. PR is not extremely important but it is something that should be taken into consideration when judging what you are up against. If all the sites in the first 10 results have PR4 or higher then it’s probably a really tough niche to crack. If some of them have low or no PR then it’s a good sign for you.

In order to check their backlinks you will want to use Yahoo site explorer. Your first instinct is probably to use the Google link search but they do not show even close to all the backlinks a site really has so Yahoo is much more accurate.

Go to http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com and type in the URL of the #1 Google ranked site for your main keyword phrases and see how many links they have. In the drop down menu next to the results choose “except from this domain” so it doesn’t show links coming from their own site. Do this for at least a few of the top 10 sites in your niche to get a good estimate of how strong they are. The less links they have the better.

Your goal is basically to find niches that have a good amount of monthly searches with some competition but not too much, and the competition they do have isn’t very strong. After that all you do is build the site, do some SEO to get your site ranked highly, monetize it, laugh all the way to the bank, then repeat the process.

That’s pretty much all there is to it. Of course, this is the condensed version to fit in a blog post, but you should be able to figure it out using the above information and a little more research on the topic. Finding good niches and keyword phrases to target isn’t the easiest thing you will ever do but it’s not overly complicated either.
